TRAVEL AND ACCIDENT INSURANCE INFORMATION FOR AU PAIRS
All Au Pairs are covered by a travel and accident insurance policy arranged by Global Exchange International as part of the Au Pair benefits package. Before your arrival in the country of destination (In the US, you will be automatically enrolled with United Healthcare Student Resources (UHCSR). The Au Pair will receive an email with instructions to access the insurance company's website to create and access "My Account" from which you will be able to print your insurance identification cards and access the details of your coverage and the network of preferred provider doctors It is the responsibility of the Au Pair to become familiar with the coverage and policies of exclusions of your insurance.
All Global Exchange International Au Pairs will receive detailed information about the features. Coverages and exclusions of your medical and travel insurance. You will receive the following materials before your trip:
Coverage Booklet: This booklet provides a complete list of coverage and exclusion policies and detailed instructions on what to do in the event of a travel emergency, medical emergency or dental emergency.
Contact sites that can handle emergencies in your destination country, addresses, phone numbers and hours of service to answer any questions you may have regarding your insurance policies in the destination country.
The website: This website offers a summary of insurance coverage, a complete brochure, a search system for medical service providers in the destination country, a downloadable claim form, and a Frequently Asked Questions section.
